Meet the Speakers

JoshBlount

  • Pastor of Living Faith Church
  • Franklin, WV

Josh is passionate. His fervor for life is embodied by commitment to God, his wife, Anna, and three kids. He has a love for wildlife photography, and bladesmithing, and enjoys birding, hunting, weight-lifting, and running.

Josh, Anna, Elliot, Kate, and Lauren

Josh has traveled far to photograph owls. From Minnesota in -15ºF weather, to Cape Buffalo in Kenya. He loves birding and wildlife photography trips with his family, and would love to visit Yellowstone and the Scottish Highlands.

Josh is inspired by David Powlison's wisdom in applying the Bible to life, Winston Churchill's courage and wit, and Theodore Roosevelt's courage and zest for life. He is amazed by the writings in Ecclesiates, and hopes to learn more about the author one day.

Josh wants you to know, It's okay if you think I'm a bit eccentric and odd—my family does too.

The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiates 12:13

KenDelage

  • Pastor of Mercy Hill Community Church
  • Spotsylvania, VA

Ken is dedicated. He's a family man and a passionate member of his church. God has blessed him and his wife, Tiffany, with seven children ranging in age from 8 to 24, embracing the joys and challenges of parenting.

Ken and Tiffany Delage

Ken is no slacker, and holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He's a fan of all things Washington, but he especially roots for the Redskins.

If given the chance, Ken would love to have dinner with John, "the disciple Jesus loved." He’s curious to learn about John’s experiences with Jesus and to hear firsthand what it was like to be in His presence.

Ken has done things few have even tried, like driving a submarine, operating a nuclear reactor, and even swimming over the Mariana Trench.

SteveTeter

  • Pastor of Living Faith Church
  • Franklin, WV

Steve is compassionate; evident in his love for his wife, Linda, their five children, and nine (and counting) grandchildren, and his care for his congregation.

Steve next to a deer he shot

Steve's favorite activities are fly fishing, growling, and hunting whitetail deer. In spite of his outdoorsy side, you might not expect that he would have his Dental License, and he spent six and a half years in dentistry, before he became a pastor.

Steve loves learning, and lists RC Spoul's "The Holiness of God" and C.S. Lewis' "The Weight of Glory" as must-reads. Hebrews is another favorite of Steve's and would love to discuss it with it's author one day.

Steve became a Christian at a revival when he was 12-years-old, but gives much credit to the loving response from his father, as Steve challenged his authority as a teenager.

Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33

QuintonCools

  • Pastor of KingsWay Community Church
  • Midlothian, VA

Quinton is intentional. His passion for leadership and discipleship is evident in how he serves his church and leads his family. He and his wife, Kelsey, are raising four children: Addison, Benjamin, Evelyn, and baby Lauren.

When he's not on the basketball court, Quinton hosts podcasts on leadership and Christian living. His education includes a Business Administration degree and a Master's in Biblical and Theological Studies, preparing him well for ministry and mentorship.

Quinton has adventured across all 50 states, flown a plane over a glacier, and even played basketball on the back of a donkey! If given the chance, he'd love to have dinner with Moses, admiring how God spoke to him "face to face, as a man speaks to his friend."

Growing up in an age-integrated church shaped Quinton's vision for discipleship. At 14, he realized "I am a leader" at a TeenPact event, igniting his passion for mentoring. He believes every young person should seek relationships with godly adults who will help them follow Jesus in every season of life.

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

JoeLechner

  • Pastor of Crossway Community Church
  • Charlotte, NC

Joe is adventurous. His love for the outdoors and exploring is matched only by his devotion to his family. He and his wife, Jeanie, are raising four children: Alathea (19), Abi (17), Ava (14), and Zeke (12).

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNC-Charlotte and is a graduate of the Sovereign Grace Pastors College. When not serving his church family at Crossway Community Church, he roots for the Carolina Panthers (and appreciates your prayers on that front).

Joe's had his share of wilderness adventures and loves anything that gives an adrenaline kick. If he could travel anywhere right now, he'd head to Alaska to explore Denali.

Joe finds inspiration in "The Discipline of Grace" by Jerry Bridges and the writings of John Piper.

Given the chance to dine with biblical figures, Joe would choose Ehud and Jael from the book of Judges—two individuals whose courage and conviction he admires.

Having grown up in the 80's and 90's, he'll tell you "everything was awesome" in his childhood. And if he had a spirit animal? It would soar high above—an eagle or hawk, watching over all.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58
